Your child works with Dr Lavan Ganeshkumar (PhD, UCL) on a topic they are studying now, in Maths, Chemistry, Physics or Biology at GCSE or A-Level, and you get honest feedback on where they are and what would help. Join one of our small groups in person in Camden, or ask us about 1-to-1.

We send you a link to choose a Thursday between 4pm and 7pm, online or at your home. It is confirmed straight away by email.

A full lesson with Dr Lavan on a topic your child is studying now. He checks what is secure, finds the gaps and teaches.
You decide
Honest feedback after the lesson. If your child continues, we agree a weekly slot or a group place and email the terms to sign online; lessons are booked as soon as you sign.
Taught by the founder
Every lesson, including the trial, is taught personally by Dr Lavan Ganeshkumar, PhD in Computational Chemistry from UCL, with over ten years teaching A-Level Maths and Sciences.

The trial is on your child's current topic, at exam standard, with work set and marked. You see exactly how lessons run.
Honest feedback
After the lesson you hear where your child is, what the gaps are and which group is the right fit. The trial is invoiced as a single lesson; there is no pressure to continue.

When is the trial, and where?
The trial is a one-to-one lesson with Dr Lavan on a Thursday between 4pm and 7pm, online or at your home. After your 10-minute call we send you a link to pick the time that suits you.
How do I book a trial?
Start with a 10-minute call with Dr Lavan: leave your details on this page or call us on 07848 573903 and we book it at a time that suits you. If a trial is right for your child, we then send you a link to choose a Thursday time.
Do I need an account?
Not to book. If your child continues after the trial, we set up your Ganes Academy parent account and email you the terms for the year to sign online. Lessons are booked as soon as you sign.
Is the trial free?
No. The trial is a paid lesson at our normal lesson rate, invoiced after the lesson. We confirm the fee when you book. There is no commitment beyond that one lesson.
Is there any commitment beyond the trial?
No. A trial is one paid lesson. If your child wants to continue, we agree a regular slot or a place in a group and send you the terms of engagement for the year.
